Funding available for projects on West Wickham Commons
Do you have an idea that could help people enjoy West Wickham Commons, improve biodiversity or encourage more people to engage with nature?
The City of London Corporation’s Enjoying Green Spaces and the Natural Environment Fund is currently open for applications, offering one-off grants of between £2,000 and £15,000.
West Wickham Commons are among the City of London Corporation’s green spaces covered by the scheme.
Projects must meet at least one of four themes:
1) improving conservation or biodiversity;
2) connecting new communities with their green spaces;
3) helping children and young people learn about and engage with nature; or
4) improving wellbeing through the use of green spaces.
The majority of the project’s impact must be on a City of London Corporation green space, and applications are open to eligible charities, community organisations and constituted voluntary organisations.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 21 September 2026.
The City of London Corporation recommends discussing potential projects with its Central Funding and Charity Management Team before submitting an application.
