Help shape the future of West Wickham

The West Wickham Residents Association will celebrate its centenary in just three years  – a remarkable milestone reflecting a century of service to our town. Over that time, the Association has played an important role in shaping local transport, planning, policing, education, the High Street, community life and our environment.

If you’ve ever thought about contributing to your community, this is a great opportunity. The Association aims to be visible in the town, to make a real difference on local issues, and to ensure that being involved is enjoyable and rewarding for those who take part.

Our current committee reflects that spirit. It’s made up of friendly, interesting people with a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. We work in a collaborative and supportive way, each bringing our own interests and experience. It’s a group where ideas are shared openly—and where getting involved should genuinely bring a smile to your face.

There’s no pressure to commit straight away—you are very welcome to attend a couple of meetings first to see if it’s for you. The role is not onerous. We meet for around two hours on a Tuesday evening every two months, and any additional involvement is entirely up to you.
